Presented by the Academy’s Life Practice Council.

Principle-based reserving (PBR) is here. The Academy is hosting its popular “PBR Boot Camp” this fall, but with a focus on regulators and those who work closely with them to implement and audit principle-based reserving (PBR). This seminar will offer new content, designed with regulators in mind, that will deliver instructional sessions and interactive case studies to provide attendees with key learning experiences. Join your peers for this popular seminar that will ensure you stay ahead of the PBR curve.

Topics will include:
  • Modeling and model governance
  • Stochastic, deterministic, and NPR reserves
  • Setting mortality assumptions, as well as all other liability assumptions
  • Determining assets to back PBR reserves and setting asset assumptions
  • Reinsurance
