Meeting location Marriott Wardman Park Hotel CE credit The Academy believes, in good faith, that the 2007 Spring Meeting sessions qualify as "recognized organized activities" under the current Qualification Standards for Prescribed Statements of Actuarial Opinion. Attendance may earn the participant up to one continuing education credit per session under the qualification standards, depending upon his or her particular requirements set forth therein. Dress code The dress code for the Spring Meeting is business casual. The temperature in Washington during March generally ranges from about 36 degrees Fahrenheit to 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Confirmations and cancellations E-mail confirmations are sent immediately after online registration. Confirmation of a mailed or faxed registration will be sent within two weeks after the completed registration form and payment information have been received. Cancellations must be received in writing by March 23. They should be mailed to Denise Winston, American Academy of Actuaries, 1100 Seventeenth Street NW, Seventh Floor, Washington, DC 20036, or faxed to her at 202.872.1948. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. Guests Spouses and guests may register to attend the Washington Luncheon for $40.
