If you are an actuary who writes P/C loss reserve opinions, then make plans to attend the Academy's 2011 P/C Effective Loss Reserve Opinion Seminar: Tools for the Appointed Actuary on Nov. 16 & 17. This annual seminar will keep you up to date on regulations and standards applicable in drafting loss reserve opinions.
Led by top company, consulting, and regulatory actuaries, this seminar will cover a variety of topics, including:
The first day is tentatively scheduled to cover report-writing, data and documentation, regulatory issues, and special topics. The second day is tentatively scheduled to focus on topics such as reserve ranges, recent ASOP changes, and significant risk of material adverse deviation.
