Resources
This website offers a broad array of resources on actuarial public policy and professionalism issues. As a public service, the Academy makes most of these resources available at no cost. You're welcome to browse through the site whenever you like.
The "Resources" pages are designed to help the Academy's most important audiences access key information quickly.
- "Actuarial resources" has a few basic resources that should be in any actuary's professionalism toolkit. Many more can be found in the website's main Professionalism section at the top of the home page. We recommend that you bookmark that section, along with some or all of the site's practice-related main sections: Casualty, Health, Life, Pension, and Financial reporting. You may also want to bookmark the main links to the Actuarial Standards Board and the Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline.
- "Resources for the news media and public" has contact information and links to selected resources, including the calendar of events and the Social Security and Medicare sections. It also highlights a few Academy events and publications of interest to journalists and the public.
- "Resources for policy-makers and regulators" has contact information and links to selected resources, including the Social Security and Medicare sections, Academy reports for the NAIC, monographs, issue briefs, and comment letters.
If you're an actuary, a policy-maker, a regulator, a journalist, or a member of the public, the Academy welcomes your comments on how we can make these pages more useful to you.
