The C1 Work Group is a limited life work group formed in 2012 to provide support to the NAIC in reviewing and revising the current C1 RBC life company framework. The work group is reviewing all aspects of the framework including assumptions, methodologies and consistency of risk measures. The work group will recommend revisions as appropriate which may include factor updates, alternative methods of capital determination for specific asset classes and capital specification for combinations of unrelated asset classes.
