AG 43/C3 Phase II Work Group

The Actuarial Guideline 43/C-3 Phase II Work Group proactively provides actuarial support, advice, and communication on issues involving statutory reserve and risk-based capital requirements for variable annuity products. This includes developing proposals for ways in which the NAIC and the actuarial profession can better evaluate the overall effectiveness of the requirements and actuarial practices used in the implementation of the requirements. The work group also communicates and provides information to the membership of the Academy regarding these issues.
