The Board established the Actuarial Foundation Supporting Organizations Committee (TAFSOC) as an Academy committee, to report to CUSP. Committee members are comprised of one member from the Board of each of the actuarial organizations that contribute financially to The Actuarial Foundation.
TAFSOC is chaired by the Academy representative whom the Foundation has indicated it will appoint as an ex officio, voting member of The Actuarial Foundation’s Board.
TAFSOC is charged with reviewing the progress of The Actuarial Foundation in advancing its mission and strategic direction, offering insights and suggestions to enhance the Foundation’s work, educating CUSP members on the work of the Foundation, and actively encouraging support of that mission within the U.S.-based actuarial organizations.
