In this Statement of Support, NAAC applauds the pioneering work of the Joint (CAS, CIA, SOA) Risk Management Section in the areas of outreach initiatives, cross-border participation, transportable seminars, inclusion of all traditional practice areas, expansion into industries beyond insurance and financial services, and development of practice guidance.

We the undersigned leaders of the actuarial associations comprising NAAC, recognize that:

Actuarial techniques are essential components of enterprise risk management.

Cooperative efforts among actuarial associations on underlying education along with research and development are essential to the advancement of this practice.
