The Life Financial Reporting Committee has published a draft practice note on embedded value reporting. Comments and suggestions are welcomed, and should be sent to Policy Analyst Tina Getachew before May 13.

Two practice notes finalized

The Life Financial Reporting Committee has published

  • a practice note on the identification and valuation of embedded derivatives in modified coinsurance and similar insurance arrangements.
  • a practice note on anticipated common practices concerning AICPA SOP 05-1.
