I am delighted to inform you that we have five excellent candidates for the three regular director positions for consideration of the membership in the upcoming online election to be held July 23 through August 17. This is the first year there will be a competitive election for one of the three regular director positions.

The website for the Academy Board Election Center has links to all the candidates’ information, their bios, and responses to initial questions posed by the Nominating Committee.

Between now and July 2, Academy members are invited to submit questions to the candidates via an online form. All questions will be directed to all candidates. Candidate responses will be posted on the election website on July 20 so that you can consider them before you vote in the online election from July 23 to August 17, which I hope each of you will do.
