The Academy Board...
Establishes the Academy's goals and priorities.
Elects Academy officers.
Approves the budgets for the Academy, the ASB, and the ABCD.
Considers professionwide policy issues relevant to the Academy's goals and the profession's goals.
Reviews and, when appropriate, approves interim policy and administrative actions made by the Executive Committee. Initiates bylaw changes.

The Board of Directors has 28 members: ten officers, one immediate past president, and 17 elected directors.
