Speakers at this briefing discussed the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) and related issues, including the effects of terrorism risk on the worker's comp market. Currently, every state in the nation mandates that employers carry workers? compensation insurance, and it cannot exclude terrorism risk or war risk.
