What Does the Public Really Know About Retirement Risks?

The two speakers at this one-hour luncheon briefing presented the results of a new survey and focus group sessions designed to gauge the public’s understanding of retirement risks. They discussed the implications of the public’s knowledge of these risks for retirement security, examined the successes and failures of the current pension system, and outlined 21st-century retirement program options.
