At a timely Academy briefing on Capitol Hill, a panel of actuarial experts examined the tradeoffs of various proposals to provide prescription drug coverage under Medicare. The April 9 event featured John Bertko, chief actuary for Humana, Margaret Wear, chief actuary of AdvancePCS, and Cori Uccello, the Academy's senior health fellow.
